I noticed a small error that happens when I run these batch commands on drawings, and thought I'd report it to let you know.

If I run the batch commands on any given set of drawings, and then run a batch plot, the size annotations on reducers and the spec annotations on spec breaks graphically lose their link with the database and display periods instead. Keep in mind, this is even when including the "Refresh Annotations" command at the bottom of the list in lazplantbrowser. However, if I were to manually open each drawing and save it, then run my batch plot, everything comes in fine. The problem is that I cannot afford to manually open and save each drawing every time I run a batch plot. Manually opening the drawing seems to refresh the annotation before I run my batch plot though.

Please let me know if you come across a solution for this. Thanks for hearing me out!

There are some issue where refresh annotations does not work with update tag command. Try to re-run refresh annotation command again and see if it works

I tried running only "Refresh Annotations", but then also tried again running "Update Acquisition" and "Refresh Annotations" in that order, but both methods that I tried didn't update the annotations; they remained displaying a period in place of the data.

Again, I can still just manually open the drawing to get it to refresh the annotations (syncing them with the data values that they should be displaying). The main problem with this is that we have nearly 400 drawings now.

Thanks for the attempt though! Let me know if you come across any other ideas for me to try; I'll be happy to be the guinea pig :)

Try it with the Zoom All command. Then the drawing will be fully open and it might work.

Also syncstyles command does refresh the annotation as well. You might want to try that..

Can't seem to reproduce the problem here. Does it happen with the default project as well?

I tested your suggestion on both the sample project and my project, and was able to reproduce the same results. Adding the Zoom All command as the first or last command didn't seem to fix the problem.

    Here's what I did:
Without having the drawing open, I loaded lazplantbrowser and select a drawing, then queued the commands in the following order:
    synchstyles
    refresh acquisition
    regenerate tag
    refresh annotations
    zoom all

Once executed, and without opening the drawing, I loaded publish, published the drawing to .dwf, then converted it to a .pdf. The annotations on both the .dwf and .pdf consistently displayed a period on spec breaks and reducers instead of the true data value.

Once I manually opened the drawings, saved them, then ran the publish on them, the annotations displayed correctly.

    I hope this helps!

    Thanks,
    Craig

You're right Craig, thanks for noticing the bug. Currently it only seems to affect reducer and spec break annotation. I'll do some testing and see what went wrong

    Hey Rave,

I tried the new version 0.2.01 of LazPlantBrowser and the previous issue I was having has now been resolved, as long as I make sure to include the "Zoom All" command within the list of commands. It can be at the front, or back end of the sequence and will yield the same result. When I ran all of the commands without including "Zoom All", the periods instead of data values appeared.

I'll make sure to always include "Zoom All" and should be fine from here on out.

    Thanks for the fix!

    Craig
